MIKAKU

When the best experience you've had in a city is a bar, you would usually think that it was the city you've found lacking and the bar just kinda made up for it. But since I found Tokyo an overall exceptional place in almost every way imaginable, that just says how good of a place said bar is. I've b...een to it twice on my two separate stays in Tokyo in a single two-week trip (both at its beginning and before conclusion), and on both occasions I had an absolutely great time. Drinks are great, as is food (I especially enjoyed kangaroo meat, which was utterly glorious). Price is also entriely reasonable. But above all I would like to mention the serivce and the stuff, as in great people, conversations with whom (me being solo tourist and all that) I absoultely enjoyed. If you've had about 4 hours of sleep the previous night, but you just can't force yourself to leave before it's 3 a.m., despite knowing you'll have to start your next day early as well, because you're having such a great time - it speaks something of the place, doesn't it? And I can attest it was wholly worth it.
