Tsukushi

I loved the rustic and authentic style of this little okonomiyaki place. Unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations. We ordered the butter scallops and were disappointed. Chewy and not tasty at all. The spicy beef okonomiyaki was very small and lacked in flavor. Will check other places o...ut when I go to Asakusa next. Cheers.

最低最悪！ 最も悪い店。決して、この店に行ってはならない。店員の態度はごう慢である。訪問者を軽蔑したサービスはされる。 店員が不正を働いたので、他の訪問者と店員は口論であった！ 私はツキシマのmonja-yaki店を推奨する。浅草のmonja-yaki店は最も悪い！ The worst store. Never go to this store. The attitude of the shop assistant is haughty. The service which disrespected a visitor is done. Other visitors and shop ass...istants were a quarrel because a shop assistant misbehaved! I recommend a monja-yaki store in Tsukishima. The monja-yaki store in Asakusa is worst!

You must see ths market...it is simply amazing! Some of the stuff they were selling was so weird that we didn;t know if it was a fish or a vegetable! The kids enjoyed it too!

Being an Okonomiyaki connoisseur, I was delighted when I found this place. The staff were really good, Okonomiyaki excellent, and the place had plenty of atmosphere. So good I took my wife there the next day. It's near Sensoji temple, and has the options of sit down or western style chair with yo...ur own hot plate in front of you. Aside from Okonomiyaki, there were plenty of other dishes that looked really tasty.

The okonomiyaki was decent but all of the staff made us feel like we were a bother the whole time we were there. Found it strange that all the Japanese guests were allowed to cook their own on the hotplate in the middle of each table, but we were provided an already cooked meals (when we ordered the... same as everyone else...). When we said "i thought you got to cook your own", we were told "no" very rudely and the waiter walked away. I get that the resturant was busy, but felt like foreigners were treated very differently to the Japanese guests. This has been the first and only bad experience I've ever had with being discriminated against in japan. I would not recommend tourists visiting here.
