“This is a good place to enjoy Japanese kaiseki course menu at an affordable price range.”
I've been eating at this restaurant for twenty years. They did some redecoration several years ago so the interior looks quite new. It's good for business dining as well as private. On my most recent occasion, I went with two friends. They have course menus ranging from 6,000 yen to 10,000 yen. I or...dered the 6,000 yen kaiseki course, as I always do. I've found that this course is voluminous enough to which most of the friends and guests I've taken to this restaurant seem to agree. Starting from an appetizer of the season, followed by sashimi, steamed egg pudding, grilled fish, stewed dish, fried dish and then a rice dish to finish with dessert. The ingredients are carefully selected from what are in season. I have never felt let down with their cooking. They have a good selection of Japanese sake and shouchuu at reasonable prices. If you are a group of over five try to book their only private room seating six people comfortably. This is a tatami room, so you have to take your shoes off, but the room is of a horigotatsu style, meaning that under the dining table has been dug out so that you can lay down your feet, which many overseas visitors find more comfortable.
