One of the best meals we had during our two weeks in Japan. We chose the set course menu andthe wagyu beef was the standout. Very flavorful and it literally melted in our mouths. Tucked away in a basement and a bit hard to find, it’s a hidden gem. With bar and table seating for around 20 guests, t...he space is cozy and inviting and the chef and staff were attentive and friendly. Not to be missed, highly recommend.

A very welcoming and friendly space we found on our last night in Kyoto. We sat at the bar while the chef prepared meals on the other side. We did the pre-fix menu since the price seemed so reasonable. It did not disappoint. The Wagyu was so delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Pont...ocho area.

Located in the busy Ponticho street this teppanyaki restaurant was lots of fun. We enjoyed tuna, sirloin steak and salad from the menu plus our special request of garlic fried rice. All dishes were very tasty. Our waitress was superb; nothing was too much trouble and she was lots of fun. Our eve...ning was made by the arrival of a group of six people from Kyoto who soon started a party for us! I would strongly recommend choosing this restaurant if you are seeking a fun night out.

We found a gem tucked away in Pinto ho Alley, Gion. The food was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience felt so personal—at one point, they even called us up to watch the chef cook our steak with a burst of flame right in front of us. The tongue meat was tender and flavorful—it practically m...elted on the palate. We’re so glad we chose this restaurant; it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. The staff were all friendly, and the chef was incredibly approachable and hands-on. Highly recommended! We even got a photo with him.

We discovered this hidden gem, and the food is absolutely delicious. What makes the experience truly special is the personal touch—just before the chef starts cooking your meal, they call you over to take a video as they prepare it with an impressive burst of fire, making it feel uniquely tailored t...o you. The tongue steak was exquisitely tender. I was genuinely surprised, as I expected it to be chewy like the one I had in Osaka, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The wagyu beef was another standout—rich, buttery, and melting in your palate with every bite. Highly recommended! The dishes were scrumptious and full of flavor.
