Indoryori Restaurant SURAJ Fukai

I had business around Fukai Station, and dropped in at Suraj for lunch. It was not a bad choice at all. I had a lunch set meal of curry and rice. The rice was not usual white rice but saffron rice, which made Indian curry more than perfect. Mango lassi I had after the meal was very smooth and yu...mmy. Although Suraj calls itself an Indian restaurant, it has a Nepalese national flag on its wall. I wonder where they come from. Fukai Station along Semboku Rapid Railway is the nearest station to Doto, an ancient Buddhism pagoda covered with Japanese tiles. When you visit Doto, having your lunch at Suraj may be one of the best choices.
