“old world charm”
There are two Roppakuya Kado. the one listed here is 453-1 but the owners apparently also owns the one at 452-1 which focuses on Izakaya and Shabu Shabu. we had the shabu-shabu and two salad dishes. wonderful atmosphere. it was all floor seating. the portions (we ordered two portions for three of us...) was just right. the food was fresh and the taste of the broth was balanced. healthy and wholesome meal.

“Unusually Good Find”
Found on the corner of a fabulous little back street in one of Kyoto’s wonderful neighborhoods. Heavy Spanish influences, superb produce and an excellent chef combine in delicious fashion. We had a honeyed tomato, a cod roe omelette, and a pork steak all of which blew me away. Take a chance on this... little spot, you won’t regret it.
