“Best Hot Pot in Kioto!”
Incredibly nice and kind personnel. Food was great, starting with the normal hot pot, the ramen (noodles) on the same miso soup and finally egg and rice (podrige). Soup was execellent and good so much that we could not have dessert. Best place so far in Kioto only beaten by they own staff. Congratul...ations! おめでとうございます

“Delightful food in hidden alley”
OMG! The food here is just delightful! Best food I have eaten in Japan so far! Service was also very good. Friendly staff with enough English to communicate. If you don’t like offal you can choose other options like we did! We really wanted to try the almond tofu for dessert but were too full after ...our hot pot. Also try the amazing add on smoked mackerel for a mere 300 yen. The hot pot is 1490 each but they happily allowed us a single serve to share which was quite enough food! Don’t miss this hidden gem. It is about 200 m down the Pontocho Alley.

Had a fantastic meal served by Yoshitaka. Heaps of food, fantastic service and amazing flavours. Would definitely recommend. Flawless experience.
