Such a great find! All of the courses we ordered were delicious. Great wine menu. Perfectly balanced dishes, prepared with love and skill. The ambiance is cosy and the staff are warm and gracious. We will definitely return next time we visit Kyoto. Highly recommend,

Great find for an evening meal. Wanted a change from Japanese. French inspired food. Warm and friendly service. Good ambience. Mid range price but food good quality.

I went here as part of a tour group for lunch. We had a lovely buffet of french home cooking. Lovely salads, french bread, Potato dauphinoise. Made a nice change from all the Japanese food.

What a wonderful find!!! Fully agree with all the recent reviews, we found this place by absolute chance, and wow what a find. Proper home style French cooking (my wife is from Provence so she knows), excellent service and great value - 2400 for a full three course lunch....definitely recommend to a...nyone looking for high quality European cuisine in Kyoto!!

Found this perfect restaurant by chance as we struggled to get our family of 7 (all adults) a table at 8pm in a very busy Kyoto! Initially they very politely declined us due to how busy they were and they do not have a lot of space. But after we left they noticed a big group getting ready to leave,... so they ran down the street after us and told us they could accommodate us in 10 mins. Very pleasant smiling staff carefully took our orders and we then got to watch the small kitchen at work. Wonderful. High quality food, presented perfectly. Everyone of us loved each of our choices. A nice wine list and a clear knowledge of wines from one of the staff really helped our choices of red and white. We could not recommend this restaurant enough.
