Firstly, don’t get drawn in by the ‘all you can drink’ claim on their website, it only applies if you make a reservation on line. Secondly, the cover charge for bread is a scam. They don’t explain the charge clearly and you get charged for bread that you don’t get. The service is poor, we felt very ...rushed, they tried to serve our main course before I had finished my starter. Saying all that, the food was OK despite not being particularly hot. I’m sure you can find better places to eat in the area.

It is a short outside of the busy restaurant area but it is certainly worth it. The restaurant has a support desk in the middle and tables around it. The place is very clean with friendly staff. The food is delicious, especially the beef stew and the mackerel carpaccio.

We asked our Hotel (Solaria) for dinner options and they recommended this restaurant as it was out daughters 26th Birthday. They helped us book and the service on the night was great, food selection and wine options very good. WE had the fish and steak and these were yummy. The desert selection was... popular in our group. Prices pretty good, similar to NZ.

Such a great find! All of the courses we ordered were delicious. Great wine menu. Perfectly balanced dishes, prepared with love and skill. The ambiance is cosy and the staff are warm and gracious. We will definitely return next time we visit Kyoto. Highly recommend,

Great find for an evening meal. Wanted a change from Japanese. French inspired food. Warm and friendly service. Good ambience. Mid range price but food good quality.
