“Friendly little bar”
Called in a few times for a drink during a short stay in Kyoto. Great selection of drinks including a very nice pint of Guinness. Reasonable prices and very friendly and efficient young team behind the bar. It’s quite small, so getting a seat can be a challenge at busy times, but groups come and go,... so we never had to wait long for a spot. Didn’t eat there, so can’t directly comment on the food offer, however it all looked quite nice. Beware that smoking is permitted in here - The atmosphere wasn’t excessively Smokey and it didn’t particularly bother us, but if you’re really not a fan of smoke, then probably best to find something else.

“Avoid-Full of smokers”
Pub looked cosy and authentic. It was St Patrick's day and full of people smoking. Not acceptable in this day and age. Avoid

“Great Watering Hole At Kyoto Station”
Great place for a drink and conversation at Kyoto Station. And if you have an extra Dollar or Euro or Pound bill in your pocket, sign it and leave part of you on the wall. Mention to Momo or Yuki that Gene sent you and you get extra special service.

“Don’t come out of your way to come here”
Dropped in for a pint here. It’s nothing special really, and fairly small. Beer was okay, staff were okay, place was okay. I wouldn’t make a special trip here. BTW, the one in Gion is better.

“Poor service”
You wait a long time for a pint then it is 1/3rd froth works out expensive also while watching F1 Singapore Grand Prix switch to football!!!! halfway through race poor management
