My wife and I were looking for somewhere to watch the Chiefs game so we thought this place was worth a try. When we went in the footy was on but no one was watching so I asked if it was possible to turn the game on. Legends behind the bar were like “ yeah bud no worries “. Had a few pints of Guinnes...s and my wife and daughter enjoyed the local Roku cherry blossom gin the boys behind the bar recommended. Had some Buffalo chicken and wedges which were delicious. Really can’t recommend this enough. Thanks guys for making us feel so welcome

Came into pub to watch British lions v Australia which the staff knew nothing about and when we eventually found it on Tv they insisted on keeping playing loud pop music rather than the commentary despite everyone asking

This place is just a cool little bar for a drink and some food. It is warm and easy to escape the cold winter air. This is a smoking allowed place, stay away if that isn’t your thing. Beer is cold and well priced. The food was tasty. So many cool decorations on the walls to look at. People meeting n...ew people there which was great to see. Go for a visit, enjoy a beer.

Called in a few times for a drink during a short stay in Kyoto. Great selection of drinks including a very nice pint of Guinness. Reasonable prices and very friendly and efficient young team behind the bar. It’s quite small, so getting a seat can be a challenge at busy times, but groups come and go,... so we never had to wait long for a spot. Didn’t eat there, so can’t directly comment on the food offer, however it all looked quite nice. Beware that smoking is permitted in here - The atmosphere wasn’t excessively Smokey and it didn’t particularly bother us, but if you’re really not a fan of smoke, then probably best to find something else.

Pub looked cosy and authentic. It was St Patrick's day and full of people smoking. Not acceptable in this day and age. Avoid
