“If you want some decent Italian food in Kyto this is an excellent choice”
This is a nice Italian restaurant. We had dinner there twice. The first time we had pizza and the second time Kobe beef. The dining room is at a level lower than the street and is reached by a broad stairway. The room is of medium size and rustic. The pizza, a prosciutto with fresh rocket salad, was... good and of a decent size. That means that it was not too big as it mostly is in Europe. The second time we had mozzarella and prosciutto as a starter. This is definitely a nice Italian style dish. And as already mentioned, Kope beef as main course. The beef was perfectly cooked, that is not too much and accompanied with some nice but rather few vegetables. It tasted good, but I have had just as good regular beef filet in Europe. So, I think this beef is probably overrated. Of course there are different qualities of it, and this was not so expensive. Both times we visited this restaurant we had nice Italian wine to a surprisingly decent price.

“Nice restaurant for a night out”
Lovely spot for dinner, especially if you get an outside table on the canal. The food was all great and prices very reasonable. This works as a family spot or romantic night out. A meal for three of us came in around $140 Canadian, for just the main meal and wine.

“honestly it waslovely. not sure why everyone is so negative”
i do not understand why people are so negative about this lovely spot. it’s right on the river. if you pay a little extra 500 yen or about 3 dollars you get amazing seats on couches outside. it was a beautiful night. they said the pizza would take 30 minutes - it was way faster. the staff was s...uper nice. the prosciutto and arugula pizza was great. give it a chance. i think a lot of the other reviewers may have been hangry. :-)

“Ok food, not great value for money”
The positive for the place is that it can accommodate big group (we were 13). Instead of booking for sharp 8, we were only let in around 815. The pizza and starters are decent but has very less options for vegetarians. the service was ok but nothing out of this world. The location is nice though.

“Good pizza close to Nishiki Market”
Bit fed up of noodles and katsu, this was a find after a morning in Nishiki market. The restaurant has a decent pizza and pasta buffet for lunch but unfortunately we only arrived 10 mins before the 2:30pm cut off, so ordered a la carte. Pizzas were delicious, thin based and oven fired, the pasta w...as nice although small. All in all, a very decent place for lunch or dinner with very decent house wines.
