“Excellent meal in a very charming Japanese Restaurant ”
This was an amazing meal. The staff are so friendly and getting to cook your own meat was great. The meat itself was amazing in taste. Both my wife and I agreed this is the best restaurant we have eaten in Japan so far after 8 days here. Def worth a visit if in Kyoto.

“Excellent Japanese Barbecue ”
We had a great evening in this place. Lovely chef and the best meat you will eat in Japan. Forget Gion and Pontocho, this is the place to be for meat! They even think of packing your jacket so it doesn’t smell of bbq😊

“Most friendly and welcoming yaki niku”
The host speaks enough English and has an English menu to make you feel very welcome. You can cook the meat on your own grill. The food is delicious as it is prepared in the restaurant own sauces. Dipping sauces are also provided. About 6,000 ten for two with beer and sake.

The owner Yamada was honestly the most welcoming and friendly host you could ask for, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was good - for those looking for a good yakiniku experience this place is second to none, thanks Yamada

I think people who left reviews here never had good yakiniku before. Grill is not the typical one. Food was average. Stuff was very friendly.
