“Perhaps the best meal during my whole trip”
While exploring Tokyo's Ginza district, we stumbled upon Little Okinawa, a cozy izakaya with a welcoming pub-like atmosphere. Though it might be a bit tricky to find, the search is well worth it. The highlight of our meal was the seafood salad featuring 'grape' seaweed—one of the most delightful dis...hes we've had in Tokyo. If you're in the area, don't miss this hidden gem.

“This is the worst food in Tokyo”
This is the worst food in Tokyo—absolutely awful and not worth your time or money. So this weird stuff is weird and no service and the fish taste weird.

“A hidden gem”
Not the easiest restaurant to find but so worth the effort. Wonderful food, fabulous atmosphere. A true hidden gem.

“If you miss Okinawa.....”
If you miss Okinawa food and are in the Ginza/Shiodome area this is an absolute must! We felt very welcome and despite our limited Japanese knowledge felt perfectly at ease at this little, charming restaurant

“Slightly different”
This friendly place is very much your regular izakaya with a twist both in decor and food. The flavours were more on the foreigner friendly side (even the bitter gourd salad) and there were some interesting twists, such as the peanut tofu. And yes, the pork belly was extraordinary. The staff are mor...e casual than at your regular Japanese restaurant and this certainly makes for a more relaxing evening. The local spirit could perhaps be avoided: designed it seems for its alcohol content rather than taste. Prices were very reasonable.
