“Not only the best breakfeast buffee, the beef steak in red wine sauce is superb!”
This restaurant is connected to the entrance of the Hotel Bestland within the same square as the Tsukuba Express Kenkyugakuen Station. As the other reviewer noted it is very popular. I stayed here on a business trip and enjoyed the great variety of food and drinks from the breakfast buffet with trad...itional Japanese to American items. I was never tired of eating at the same place every morning! The best menu item which surprisingly is not on the regular menu is the Beef Steak in Red Wine sauce; however, I was able to request this several times with a little help from the hotels staff who all spoke English very well (as did at least two of the waitress and two chefs in La Porta). I would recommend anyone staying up to three or four stations away to travel here for the breakfast and/or especially the beef steak dinner.

“Good Food and Great Service”
La Porta is on the ground floor of the Hotel Bestland. Easy choice if you are staying in the hotel. Only complaint is that the restaurant is sometimes taken over for group events and not available to others,
