Uwotoku

I had the most delicious lunch I've ever had at this restaurant. I took my German friends to there, and they seemed to have loved it as well. There are many wonderful sushi restaurants in Tokyo, but one of the great things about Uotoku is you can enjoy both Kyoto cuisine and Edomae (Tokyo) sushi in ...one meal. There is only one chef, no other cooks, no waitresses/waiters, so it takes time to have next dish. We had 4,000 yen course of Kyoto cuisine and Edomae nigiri, and it took us 2.5 hours to finish the whole thing. It's definitely recommended that you make advance reservations. The chef hardly speaks English, so make sure to have a Japanese speaking friend give the restaurant a call instead of you. If you don't have any, I'd be happy to do it for you.
