“Tapas bar with incredible hidden gems”
Went there randomly while we walked down the Food & Bar street. After we enter the a nice lady asked us what we would like to eat and handed us a japanese Map of the establishment which was quite confusing first. It turned out were standing in a multi restauraunt room. Noodles, self cooking, seafood..., a bar and the Beef Kitchen Stand, all in an area not bigger than 10 * 15 meters and with not more than 15 seats each. They are not like upper class restaurants but you wont expect this kind of restaurants in the area. In general they offer some really nice concept because you can pick meals from various cuisines without leaving the room. I wanted to try some beef there so we sat down and a very nice waiter showed us his menu. Unlikely it was a japanese menu, but the waiter kindly gave us enough information to follow his reccomentation and we picked three small dishes. (He also asked another service staff from the neighbour restaurant to translate us the menue again.) First the house speciality, a small beef steak aside with grilled/roasted onions which was delicious. It followed a kind of bonus tapa, a steak out of a beef heart which is normaly not one of my favorites but you're in japan, so whatever. The heart was perfectly cooked like we gave the request to the kitchen (medium rare). On the side we had some nice toasted baguette with some of the free sauces. We enmjoyed the stay so much that we received a plate full with butter pork as a small courtesy from the kitchen. BUT ... our highlight by far was their chicken plate. A absolutely festival of flavors. To be honest it was best chicken of my life! I can highly reccomend this place. Go there to try some different tapas with some Beeru in a lovely japanese bar style environment.
