During our 17 days in Japan we came across this restaurant by chance. Best quality and price. Food was so delicious that we went another 3 times. We were attended to by a rude waitress who not only banged our drinks onto the table but sternly scolded us for trying to order more than four dishes at a time. It's an all-you-can-eat, no? And because we had a time limit and it took longer to cook the frozen meat and show the waitress that every si...ngle piece had been consumed, we left still hungry and upset that we paid so much. We also couldn't cancel the side orders that we didn't want, which we had to finish eating also before we could actually order the meat! Given the experience we had, we were quite surprised that there were so many travel/gourmet websites promoting the place - we obviously did our homework before coming, else we would not have ended up here.

We were in Shinjuku around lunch time and fancied some BBQ beef, and happened across this place. It looked a bit seedy at first, and it took a while to get served even though there were only two other tables occupied, however, the food arrived quickly. The good thing about cooking your food is you c...an have it as rare or medium as you please. It was fun sitting around a central BBQ cooking food at our own pace. We ordered sides of cabbage and onion - but before their delivery to our table, the waitress presented us with a communal bowl of salad - so we tried to cancel the side orders, but she said they were already prepared so we couldn't cancel them!

Confused by all the negative reviews. Ate here two nights ago and food was divine. The experience of barecuing your own meat is great fun, especially with an exciting drinks menu in the sparkling surrounds of Shinjuku! Spectacular meat especially the Wagyu beef. It was busy, and as a result service ...not super attentive, though servers do run over when you call them - that's how it works in Japan (they will show you to your table when you arrive but otherwise it is up to you to request their attention for ordering, paying the bill, etc). Salad at the start was dull and a little unnecessary but cover charge wasn't extortionate (maybe 200 yen each?) and the meat prices were fair considering the lovely quality. I think we paid around £25 per person for bountiful meats and a couple of drinks each (an interesting drinks menu too). Would go again and again.

Worst day ever. Service is worst. Here the meat is poor. The meat was frozen solid. Tax excluded. Please be careful tourists.........!! 日本人の方にもお勧めしません。 店員の感じの悪さは今までに経験したことがないレベル。 肉も凍ったまま出てきて。焼いても硬くて食べれません。 最初に出てくる肉とオーダーで頼んだ肉の質が全然違います。
