“Better value to be had.”
My wife and I had lunch Matatabi this afternoon whilst on a shopping trip to Kashiwa. We chose to eat here because of the fairly good selection of lunch sets. The restaurant is not a bad looking place with wood being used throughout and lots of space between tables. The staff were less than welcomin...g, especially by Japanese standards and the waitresses not exactly "genki". I ordered the curry set and my wife had the white cream chicken set, both coming with a drink and consomme soup. The food, while not bad, was not great value in terms of portion size and taste. Overall, a less than impressive lunch. There are better options available in Kashiwa.
