“Delicious Kaiseke dinner”
We had the Kikyou Kaiseke set menu, which was outstanding. Beautifully prepared and presented. Wonderfully fresh ingredients. Service was excellent and well paced. As guests of the Hotel Ryumeikan, which houses the restaurant, we got offered a choice of free extras and chose a sake, which was very g...ood.

“Nice restaurant”
We had New Year's Eve dinner and New Year breakfast at Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo's Hanagoyomi restaurant. For dinner, the menu was limited to 1 kaiseki set or either tempura, beef or shabu shabu. We had all except for tempura and the food was good! New Year breakfast, which we were told is a bit differe...nt from usual. There was an assortment of hot and cold dishes, buffet style (most Japanese breakfast) and a small section of Western breakfast. Recommend the Japanese breakfast :)

“Great Japanese breakfast. ”
We had breakfast here on 2 mornings while staying at the Hotel Ryumeikan. It's on the 15th. floor and has a good view towards Tokyo Station. On the Friday morning the serving hours were 7 till 10 but as the 2nd day was a Saturday we were told we could eat anytime between 7am and 2pm, so we slept ...in a bit and treated this meal more like a weekend brunch. Both meals were delicious but very Japanese based offerings. You will not get a big Western style breakfast here if you are staying as a guest. We enjoyed all the food here. We did not have a dinner here but the menu appeared to be very nice. A private room is also available and looked like it would seat up to 14 people.
