“Rude staff spells totally bad experience. Made my egg coffee taste meh. Won't come back.”
My companion bought his item first, and we agreed that I'd buy mine after so I waited on the counter. This lady staff, maybe with lack of common sense, did not think I was lining up there. When another customer came, she took the new customer's order first, but I interrupted as I should be the one t...o be entertained first, that's when she figured out I was taking my order. The staff sighed in front of my face with visible irritation. Before this, she got confused as to who would take the first order after her stirring demo. She must have forgotten that my companion "she instructed to sit" was the one who made the order. For an establishment that has to have superb hospitality requirements - a food place in Japan - this place lacks even the slightest hint of omotenashi. After the incident I decided I hate this place. Still thinking about the treatment, somehow affected the taste of what I bought. I consumed it in several gulps. Didn't like it. At all. I'm an easy-going customer, I don't expect to be treated like royalty, but please don't act like a paying customer like me ruined your day. For future customers, spend your money going some other place in Yokohama Chinatown instead. There are better places that deserve more patrons. The place might look homey from the outside, and inside as well, but trust me, and one other reviewer here, the staff is ill-mannered. He had a guy staff make her feel inconvenient. I had a lady staff treat me rudely, so must be common practice here. Definitely a first and last experience.

“Egg Coffee, now that's different”
Maybe doesn't sound great, but coffee with egg whites and cinnamon is a truly delicious thing. Relaxed cafe with a fantastic product; you must try.

“Less is More Part 361 - Very Venerable Vivacious Vietnamese Vigour ”
It’s the rage in Hanoi but curious and surprised to find this in Yokohama of all places! By the looks of it, it has yet to gain popularity among the Japanese in spite of its prime location in the heart of Chinatown. It is quite quiet when we visit just after lunchtime. A very friendly Vietnamese bar...ista takes our orders and we find out from her that the cafe has been opened for just over a year. Unlike the original shop in Hanoi on Nguyen Huu Huan in the Old Quarters, this first overseas branch has more variations than their "cà phê trúng," or the classic egg coffee. There’s a matcha variation naturally! Other sweets are offered but we came for what it is famous for and we left completely satisfied. Prices are obviously higher than in Hanoi. The other clear differences - neater more comfortable seating area, more sanitised environment, better service and higher food quality. Definitely worth a try!

“Delicious egg coffee”
We were so amazed to find a Vietnamese egg coffee place, as we loved this drink on our holiday in Vietnam. The coffee is delicious and we come here a lot. However, since they have a new manager (maybe since December?) the atmosphere changed a bit. When we bought three drink and paid together, he onl...y gave us one stamp on our loyalty card. Another time, he came to our table (and the neighbouring table) and stirred our drink for us, even though we didn't want it and I told him several times to stop stirring my drink, as I found it pretty rude and I don't like the taste when it's stirred too much. He didn't care. Even though I love the egg coffee and this is a really nice place (and all of the other staff except him are super friendly), because of him, we are coming back less and less often.
