“Great spot for lunch or dinner”
We sat upstairs in traditional seating, had a warm udon soup with tempura prawns. Lovey dish and restaurant ambience.

“Great lunch stop”
Was satisfied with the overall meal and service despite the earlier negative reviews. Mom enjoyed the specialty soba and I enjoyed the tempura tendon very much. It's also a quaint shop with lots of character and traditional decoration.

Was sceptical because of the bad reviews, but we were satisfied with the food and the atmosphere here.

“Good tempura”
We were lucky to get in for dinner before they start turning people away (by 7pm). Little english spoken but we managed to order the food we wanted and then be told the right way to eat it. Really good tempura dish, very pretty presentation. We thought the price was reasonable but get in early if yo...u want to eat here.

“ボリューミーなそば That’s traditional Japanese cuisine !”
箱根湯本の駅近くにあるお蕎麦屋さん。 とても有名で、凄い混んでいますが、席数があるため回転が速く、外で待っててもわりと直ぐに入れます。 お蕎麦はざるなら何と850円なので、観光地としてはかなりお得。更に量も多いのでオススメです。 This restaurant is near by Hakone-Yumoto station. Always clouded but they have many seats. Even if you need to stay in outside queue line, it doesn’t take a long time to get the seat. ... They provide Japanese Noodle with traditional style and volume is not so small! And also, you can find a lot of foreign tourist. It means you can order easy. But please bring small money in your pocket. They don’t accept credit card. You had better to bring 2000 yen. But traditional Japanese ZARUSOBA is just 850 yen.
