A bit pricey with classic french dishes. Good service nice location. Detailed presentation. Must try the Truffle soup VGE as this is the signature one.

“A reasonable bistro experience at a supposed fine dining establishment”

We had the 50th Anniversary (of the opening of Paul Bocuse's restaurant in Lyon) menu for luncheon. What a fantastic start with the pumpkin mousse amuse bouche: it didn't sound anything wonderful but the first bite had us admitting to the 'wow' factor. Perfect texture and flavours in this starting ...course! Next was a cold salmon entree: good quality salmon but the stodgy, tasteless pancake/blini it was on and the overpowering flavour of (what seemed to be tinned) olives and the texture of raw vegetable made this the worst dish of the day. It seemed to be one of those 'something we prepared earlier' dishes stacked up in the refrigerator ready for the next order. The jus with the main of duck and foie gras pie was superb, congratulations to the sauce chef. Whilst the pastry was delicious and rich in flavour it was too thick and stodgy for the amount of minced duck meat with foie gras. Tender pieces of duck would have been preferred to minced meat and something more elaborate than bits of plain steamed/boiled vegetables. Overall a passable bistro dish which had no place in a 'fine dining' establishment. The mango and orange ice dessert with coconut panna cotta was a pleasing dish despite looking like another earlier prepared dish with finger marks all over the rim of the plate which the chef didn't bother wiping off. The coffee and petit fours were reasonably good although a higher standard for Paul Bocuse was expected. Overall a pleasant ambiance, average service, and what I'd class a reasonable bistro meal at fine dining prices. If this experience were served up at Monsier Bocuse's restaurant in Lyon I fear he'd suffer a heart attack!

“Wow wow wow”

Atmosphere : Look like Chinese style or sonething, I don't know. But warm and relax. Service : Very very good. Every staff is so friendly, I walked pass the kitchen, every chefs was smiling at me and say hi. I live that. Food : I ordered Set Saison. and didn't forget to ordering VGE soup. For me a...s a asian guy, I think it's a bit salty but what I like this most is main dish "Emincé de selle d'agneau au thym..." The lamb was seared beautifully and red wine sauce was really match with the lamb and that orange sauce as well. I'll dine at this restaurant for sure.

“Refined and exquisite”

The food experience is just exquisite. Although the prices are quite high, the satisfaction from the taste, ingredients used and the art of how it is conveyed on to the plate, certainly exceed expectations. The wine is also exquisite and guaranteed to be as such thanks to the professional help of th...e sommelier. There is nothing negative about the service - the finest demonstration of Western table serving is displayed. It was a birthday anniversary dinner I visited this place for, but I am already eager to go back before the next celebration!
