5 stars for a great value Japanese breakfast. Lots of choices, cheap and cheerful and open 24hrs! Use the machines outside to order and then go in with the ticket and wait for your meal .

“Good and cheap breakfast.”
Went for breakfast many days. very cheap price but good test. Loved their miso soup. Not sure about lunch and dinner but definitely a good place for simple Japanese style breakfast.

“Better than Yoshinoya”
Well.. I'm not a local, but I have tried Yoshinoya here in Japan and in my opinion Matsuya was better. For the same type of meal, they served more meat. I liked it.
