“Basically Italian-Japanese fast food”
Good Lord, why do I continue to eat at Saizeriya? Probably because it's a convenient place to meet people for lunch. There's one close to almost every train station. It's also a really cheap place to take your family. But this is not Italian food. This is Italian–Japanese food, and there is quite th...e difference. This is Italian food the way that Japanese people want it to taste. If you can accept that, the food is OK. Quality is not that great, but not really bad either. Definitely not a special occasion restaurant, but I don't think it was really meant to be that. This is a quick-lunch, Disneylandesque-Italian food experience for the average Japanese diner.
