“Fantastic! Must Try”
This is why I always have very high regards for Japanese food. Tucked in a serene place near the Shrine, this place specialized in Tofu. The best I had ever tasted! Recommended to try UMENOHANA Course, as this is best for first time visitors. We really enjoyed the food, Service and enviroment. Sm...oothest tofu inSo many ways, the best we ever tasted! Highly Recommended.

“Fantastic tofu kaiseki”
One of the best kaiseki meals we’ve ever had! This branch was nestled away in a housing area not far from the main stretch leading up to Dazaifu Shrine. The restaurant itself was very peaceful and calm, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. When we arrived just before noon, the restaurant w...as still empty and we got an entire room to ourselves facing a small garden. We ordered the Saifu kaiseki set and it was beautifully served and tasted wonderful. It came with some of their signature dishes such as yuba (tofu skin) and their arrowroot skewers with miso paste. Everything was very clean yet full of flavour.Bear in mind you have to enjoy tofu to appreciate this meal- it was well worth it. Will definitely visit Ume no Hana again at any of their other branches if we get the chance!

“A second visit allows for better choices.”
I'm not Japanese nor have I ever eaten at this venue. So my partner and I ordered the set menu instead of ordering ala carte, which I thought was good but not great. However, there were certain items that I thought were superior to others and now we know what is really good, solid, and just aiites. ...If one hasn't gone before, I personally think this is a great dining experience and should call in for a reservation.

“Worth visiting!”
This restaurant is located in a peaceful and quiet position of Dazaifu area amidst the spectacular backdrop of Japanese garden. The food is spectacular, of high quality, traditionally prepared by best ingredients. For those who love Tofu, I would highly recommend this place. Go for a set menu of yo...ur choice and enjoy the rest. The restaurant itself is a well decorated traditional Japanese house offering a sophisticated style and high class appeal. Staff are courteous and helpful. Check out the corner at the entrance, it has many interesting souvenirs though prices are relatively high.
