“Best izakaya type restaurant in Naha okinawa”
I wanted to combine my Okinawa food with drinks and also Okinawa traditional music!! You would say I wanted to much?!?! We'll think again: I found such a place in Naha city Okinawa: Paikaji izakaya I ordered about 10 lovely Okinawa dishes and tastefull and flavoursome Okinawa or Japanese beer Kirin ...on tap and while enjoying these delicious food ABD drink I was entertained by lovely looking Miho playing shamisen with another guy playing accusations guitar Miho apart from being absolutely beautiful Japanese young woman is also great singer who involved all audience to sing with her Unforgettable experience !! My last night on Okinawa was very very special During break Misha went around for picture sessions with some customers! She has lovely voice and sings Okinawa songs with great skills Highly recommend this place

“Disappointed ”
The worst dinner we're ever had in Okinawa. The night before we had had a great dinner at the other Paikaji restaurant, not far from this one, and we were enthusiastic but here our expectations have been really disregarded. The food wasn't good and fresh at all. They had forgotten 2 dishes of our o...rder, the fried fish and the Goya chips and when they finally arrived, rhe fish was rubbery and both dishes were cold. It's really been disgusting.

“Loved it!”
When we arrived, we were directed upstairs to our room. We had to take off our shoes, as the floor on-which we had to walk was clear with lighting and rocky looking jewels inside. The room we dinned in was just for our family (there was a door to close our room off from the rest of the restaurant).... The upstairs actually looked like it was all individual rooms for groups...with sliding doors. We had the option to sit on the floor or open the floor panels so we could sit down with our legs below the table. It's nice they have that option. Our Okinawan family ordered all the dishes, so I can only tell you we had pork, sushi, "pizza", taco rice, goya, beef, tofu, rice & even french fries. There were so many items to pick from, I lost track. We also had fermented tofu and some type of fried potato patty. At some point toward the end of our meal, a man with a Sanshin came into our room and played us a few songs. That was a lot of fun!! We even got to sing along. Overall, this was a great restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

“Over hyped”
Was expecting more based on reviews. Not awful. Just not wonderful either. A bit too touristy for my taste.
“Excellent local food experience”
We recommend this as an awesome local experience in Naha. Great service, food, and atmosphere. We ate the Jimami (peanut tofu), Goya pickle dish, rice with pork, sweet potato fries (as recommended) and beni-imo desserts. The music was great and a very friendly ending to the evening! (And bonus -... free parking!)
