“Attentive service and delicious set dinner”
We enjoyed a delicious pork shabu shabu set dinner with attentive and friendly service. All of the courses were delicious, and the lovely server made sure we knew which sauces went with what and that we had everything we needed. The restaurant is spacious and has a wide selection of sake and shochu....

“Must visit”
Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. The menu offers all the local specialties, all served by professional staff and caring team. It felt like a privilege to be there. A dinner there will be a night to remember.

“Poor value but good food”
I chose this place because other reviews said it had a good selection of food. But I think that the review was not accurate. This restaurant serves Shabu Shabu hot pot, kurabuta pork, free range chicken and shashimi dishes. Nothing great about the selection. Mostly set menus which I feel are overpri...ced. While the food is good, the quantity is limited and compared to dinners that I have had in Kyushu, this place just does not have value for money. At the end of the meal, had a bad experience. The restaurant over calculated my bill and overcharged me. Thankfully we were able to clarify the correct amount!

“Maybe I'm missing something...”
I'm determined to try new things in Japan, and I'm not normally a conservative eater, but this style of food ranges from bland to actively unpleasant. This place comes well recommended, but it was a mixed bag. We ordered a ¥5320 set each, which was a lot of money but we expected it to be worth it. ... The "appetiser" was fish innards, and was revolting. Not a good start. There were good courses, like tuna tataki and anchovy sashimi, but there was always some horror lurking, like snails, bitter melon, and pickles of varying pleasantness. The shabu-shabu was good, but the raw chicken tataki was not much to write home about. There was a cold rice dish with fish bits to fill up on, but it was overly sweetened and a bit wet/gungy. This was all compounded by a waitress who seemed determined on guiding us through the meal, which is kind...but she went too far and was gabbling on even though we had no idea what she was saying, and it ultimately became oppressive. This was poor value, and I will stick strictly to familiar Japanese dishes in future. But maybe it's just me...?
