“Rich broth, hearty food ”
Go with a very empty stomach and order the full course. We did an ohyama course for dinner at 2,900jpy which included either horse meat sashimi or a steak (we picked the steak) + the normal motu course. The side dishes of goblet, radish and tofu were the best I have ever tasted, very fresh and uniq...ue. We had miso broth which is very rich and flavourful and the offals were just tender and chewy. It comes with noodles to finish the course but we were too full to eat it. Right down at Hakata Station food street B1. Long queue but moves fast.

“Great broth”
This restaurant opens from 11 am to 12 midnight with last order at 1130pm. It is famous for motsunabe which according to Wikipedia is a kind of soup which uses beef or pork offal. In our case, I believe it’s beef. The soup is then topped with vegetables and bamboo. The broth is rich and tasty. I...f you order set, you will get other things like squid kimchi, vegetable salad, another offal dish, and seared horse meat. All are great. There are also alcoholic drinks like shochu and sake. There are also some non-alcoholic drinks. The shop was quite small and holds about say 15 tables. When we arrived, there were about two persons queueing up in front of us. We waited about 30 mins before our turn so it was not so bad. Don’t be turn off by beef offal or horse meat. Try it and you might get addicted to this traditional dish.
