“Crab Restaurant ”
Restaurant requires reservation. 15-20mins walk from train station to restaurant. We had just book a table, surprisingly when we arrived there is private room for us. Waitresses, receptionists, and guards are very polite and friendly, even they could not well communicate in English. They tried to ex...plain. Crab course is very impressive! Crab meat is fresh and sweet. However, food serves too slow.

“Eye Opening Feast of Crabs”
Dining in this restaurant was definitely an eye-opening experience. I made online booking for dinner few days prior to my Kyushu trip. They sent friendly reminders to me twice before my arrival. The restaurant housed in a four-storeys building with private dining rooms for each group. Most of th...e guests were local Japanese. They had take-away menu at the ground floor. A lady in traditional kimono served us well - although unable to communicate in English, she tried her best to teach my teens the names of each crab on the menu. Sapporo Kanihonke, as crab specialist, served us with one whole hairy crab from Sapporo, long-legged crab from Kansai and other mouth-watering dishes in the form of a set meal such as crab sushi rolls, porridge, sashimi etc. My teens enjoyed the meal very much. Although not a cheap meal, definitely an unforgettable experience.

“Restaurant that specializes in crab”
Not as good as expected. The restaurant serves various types of crabs. Most people eat the set menu but it would be better to order a whole crab and share. One would get to taste the proper crab rather than bits and pieces. I had a simple crab set and my partner had the more intensive menu but agre...ed a whole crab steamed or broiled would have been a better choice.

“everything crab”
Great restaurant to get your crab fill. Many different sets to choose from. Nice rooms to enjoy your meal but,a little noisy if a party is seated close by. Fast service and very friendly.
