Fun place to have dinner with friends. They offer two types of steak, the sirloin which looks like a strip steak in the USA and the sirloin tenderloin (~$26) which looks like a filet. They also have two seafood dinners: Whole Lobster and Scallops with Shrimp. There are add-ons and several five cou...rse options. We liked our food and our chef did a great job. The curry soup was great. We arrived at 7:00 and the place was mostly empty. By 7:30 it was entirely full. if you plant to arrive after 8:00 or have a large group, make a reservation

If you love great steak and are in Naha, Okinawa this is the place you have to go! It has been in business for over 45 years that I know of and is still serving people from all over the world that stop in here. All the pilots, Stews, businessmen that have been here always return, Just like I have do...ne. The service is excellent, the steaks and the seafood is some of the best you will ever eat! And you will brag about being here to all your friends. Oh! And you must try their soups and mixed drinks too! Fantastic.

My sister and family took my husband and I to Sam's Anchor Inn for dinner. It was the most wonderful place. The atsomphere was great. You walk in and you're instantly put into a different world. The tall stairs are lined with business cards from all over the world. When you make your way into the re...staurant you're greeted by a common thing in Japan, a smoking room. In the room there is money hung from the walls and ceiling. It's delightfully charming. The waitress's are all dressed as cute little sailor's. Quite adorable. The chef was very nice, despite the language barrier he gave us all what we wanted. We had steak and wonderful bean soup! Delicious. The drinks are to die for. The whole place is an experience. The chef had some impressive knife skills. Would go back again if it didn't take 3 planes and entire day of travel! Highly recommend for any age group!

Highly recommend, yes it was a bit pricey but honestly well worth it. My kids loved the place, drinks in skull glasses were big hits. The food was wonderful, they spoke English, took credit cards, and most tourist brochures have a coupon. Parking in no problem. We went right when the opened for ...dinner since we didn't have a reservation which worked out...looks like it got pretty busy so you may want to call ahead. Very helpful staff and great food....give it a try!
