“small portions, hidden charges”
Miraizaka was a chain izakaya that offered inexpensive beer and whisky highball to bait the customers (we found out after ordering there was a mandatory 300 yen side dish we had to order with our no-longer-cheap drink order). The food portions were small for the price and the taste was average. Th...e miso hot pot was the only dish that was decent and saved our dining experience here. Ordering was easy with a tablet which had an English menu (although it didn’t explain the 300 yen per person side dish charge).
