“Outstanding breakfast buffet in the heart of Hakata Canal City”
I have eaten breakfast a few times over the years at the Aroma and it is one of the best breakfast buffets I know of in Japan. It is mid-range to fine dining and has made-to-order pancakes and omelettes, among other things, Fresh salad items, fruits, and hot and cold cereals make it appropriate for... vegetarians. Cheeses and cold cut hams and cured meats are also in the lineup. There are also Japanese breakfast items, tofu, salted fish, and Japanese pickles. I have tried most of these and they are all fresh and tasty. When I ate breakfast in February, I asked if they could prepare me a nattō omolette. They do not have nattō in the Japanese breakfast section, but quickly whipped up a perfect nattō omolette for me. The pastries, too, are divine. No cons. The restaurant will close for remodeling soon and will reopen with improvements including, I have been told, co-located restrooms. Currently you have to leave the restaurant and use facilities elsewhere in the Grand Hyatt.

“Good quality of food, good service, with nice perch of Japanese gardening window view”
The atmosphere was nice without any background music, no man made aroma, but courteous service for most staff except one or 2 in long faces. Despite not every staff speak English, most of them were nice with smile. Salad vegetables were direct from local farm, milk content for soft served ice cream ...was direct from Hokkaido, Miso soup was great, udon and ramen were king and queen in Fukuoko, and we're put in small portions for your self choice, fried egg was well served, and in perfect degree, omelet was fried with inner egg just not pouring, fantastic! Also, it serves with green juice for better nutrition, mini croissant yummy, fresh tofu too. If you stayed at this hotel and not covered with breakfast, would be one of your big loss.

“Good spread”
My family and i love the bfast. Simple but adequate. Service team efficient, courteous and welcoming. Cozy cafe with good Japanese coffee .

“Good Breakfast”
The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and good quality foods. I tried some of the unique Japanese cereals which were very different but quite good. Doesn't open until 7:00 so don't plan for an early start.
