“OMAKASE BEEF EXPERIENCE”

I received recommendation of this restaurant at the Tourist information desk at Mitsukoshi building. Reservations done using the staff at Nishitetsu Grand Hotel. Selected the 10000¥ dinner menu. The chef and staff could not speak Engish. Got by using the Google translator. Had at least eight differe...nt cuts of beef grilled by the chef. Good learning experience on best approach to keep the beef on the grill. The last meat was pork. Chef guided the sauce to use for the different meat. Good experience on eating beef omakase style.

Almost didn't want to post this review so people don't find out about this place. Unbelievable beef served with the ¥10k course meal and would have been happy to pay 3x the price

Take the ¥10k omakase, it is so goood. The beef is melting in your mouth and the oxtail is perfect! Highly Recommended.

“Excellent Dining Experience”

We've been trying to get into this restaurant the last 3 times we were in Fukuoka because we were intrigued by the cow logo on the front door. We finally got in this trip. Again, none of the staff spoke English so we just ordered the set menu. We got the Y10,000 set and felt that the meal was wort...h every penny. The beef (apparently from Saga) was very tender and cooked to perfection. The staff (most of whom seemed quite young) was attentive and polite. While the place was small, the interiors were understated in a classy way. We brought our own wine (but their wine selection was superb), and there was a corkage fee of Y3000 (not bad).
