“Friendly”
Had a nice experience and the foo was delicious .thete was a sashimi chicken dish ,it was so good and it was my first tine trying that dish.overall had a good time

“Can be quite busy”
"Ahodori" has two locations; this one and "Hanare" (annex) which is minutes walk away. A traditional Hakata-style Japanese pub, serving fresh fish, grilled chicken, raw horse meat etc. The establishment (as of September 2019) allows smoking anywhere inside the restaurant, which can be heaven for smo...kers but can go totally south if you prefer non-smoking atmosphere. Food is good, drink prices are reasonable, but since cooking is done in the annex kitchen and is delivered to here, depending on the timing it can take some time. If you are patient and love smoking, this would be a choice for your dinner in downtown Fukuoka.

“Cool and tasty”
There is so much choice in Fukuoka but we decided this little establishment worth a second visit. They do have an English menu. Just go crazy and order away as it is all very tasty. Watching the cooking techniques is simple an interesting for a mad dog BBQ cook as myself. I picked up a few new top t...ips. Oh and just a minute away is 88 Bar a great drinking spot I can recommend.
