After doing some research on TripAdvisor and Foursquare we found this restaurant, which was also conveniently located behind our hotel. We were definitely not disappointed. Following the advice given online, we made a reservation, but found that at 7pm on a Friday, the restaurant was not really crow...ded or full. A recommended dish is a beef dish, a picture of which we pointed to in the menu. A good drink is their plum liquor or choya. Have it on the rocks. Their 9-course set meal is also decent. We found their prices fair compared to what we pay back home for a similar meal. One minus point is communication. There were no English menus, but kudos to the staff who tried their best to communicate with us with their limited command of English, and we tried to help ourselves with our knowledge of Mandarin.

This restaurant was recommended to us by the Nagasaki Tourist office. The food was very good (sashimi, sushi, grilled fish, etc).
