Yume Sushi

Very caring about the quality of the fishes, all the 3 chefs are preparing for you the best meal you will have in Naha. Freshness, creativity, beautiful presentation, the night is not enough long to eat all what they can prepare. I came 3 times, and at each time the same quality. It is not cheap but... you pay for the quality and the skills. And they deserve any $ you will spend here.

Too bad this restaurant has not been reviewed by a TripAdvisor member recently or it would surely rank much higher. The older reviews are accurate; the fish is superb and the handsome older sushi chef has a little bit of English-speaking skills and is very pleasant. I ordered the most deluxe set mea...l for lunch, ¥10,800, almost $98US, because I wanted to try uni (sea urchin) among other delicacies. My seven courses were as delicious as they were beautiful and the pace was fine; sitting on my own at the sushi bar, I finished in about 75 minutes. I am certain you can have a wonderful lunch here for about $30US. For cruise ship visitors, as I was, the restaurant is tucked away one street behind the tourist street, Kokusai-Dori, and only ~1000’ (320m) from the free “ship-to-shopping” shuttle bus area. I will long remember my meal here.

clean shop and elegant chef preparing at the sushi bar. polite english speaking staff. fresh fish on the sushi and can choose cooked rice "eel don" for kids.

This is the best sushi I have ever had. Seriously. The fish is very tasty and very fresh. I recommend the sushi plater - the chef's picks. A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for!

I'm not sure if I faced a more expensive restaurant in my life. The quality and taste is pretty good but the amount of the food for that high price is ridiculous.
