The Ishigaki wagyu beef was excellent. Mr. Sakai and all the staff were very friendly and professional. They were attentive with how the steak was prepared with perfection. I would highly recommend Kobe BAR NAKANAKA.

Very very interisting dinner tasting kobe steak and Okinawa original beef fillet and steak. Very good kobe (of course) but also Okinawa ones!!! Right price and remember to book in advance!

We really liked this place from the moment we walked in. A stepping stone feature in the entrance followed by a really cool layout where it feels like a bar but you can watch them prepare your steaks. Our waiter had fantastic English (including an East End London accent which we really appreciated).... He was helpful in describing the menu, the different steak choices and also helping us sample various different local drinks (Wine, Sake and Whiskey). The Steaks carry a price tag worthy of their certified quality. We had not had Kobe or Ishigaki beef before and it was possibly the best steak we've ever tasted. So good that we ended up having a second steak courtesy of a kind gentleman who found out it was my birthday and bought me a steak "cake" complete with a candle in it!!! The restaurant also gave us a pudding for courtesy of my Birthday which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the atmosphere in the place so much that we stayed for 3 or 4 more drinks after our meal and left having had a truly memorable birthday! I would encourage anyone visiting Naha to visit this restaurant, you will NOT regret it!!!

We, a party of six, booked this restaurant in advance and were seated in a room of horigotatsu seating. We loved that arrangement. Staff could communicate in English and their service was great, friendly and attentive! As most customers do, we went particularly for their certified Ishigaki and Kob...e beef. Price at Kobe Bar was reasonable or even a tad lower. At the same price, you will get 50g to 100g less beef of the same ranking in other Teppanyaki or grill restaurants depending on their grading (more food items will be included in a teppanyaki set such as sashimi appetizers, fried rice, and dessert, though). The beef was prepared as steak on a sizzling iron platter, so don’t go if you prefer thin slices or yakiniku-style wagyu. As for the beef quality, it justifies its A4 rating (as shown in the certificates), but as compared with those A5 wagyu & higher BMS no. (definitely carries a hefty price tag), the difference is distinguishable. All in all, we enjoyed our meal there and think that we’ve got our money’s worth.

We found this restaurant here with the mobile app and decided to try Kobe beef. The restaurant was not easy to find but absolutely worth it! Perfect service, good spoken English and English menu and the meat was absolutely fantastic! We chose Kobe sirloin steak and it was delicious!
