“Good place to experience Okinawa soba”
This place is apparently a well-known, long-standing local restaurant that serves classic Okinawa soba (and pretty much only that). We enjoyed our al dente noodles (which were more like udon than soba), the broth was nicely balanced, and the pork was very tender. I also tried the fried rice side dis...h, which was tasty, too. Service was super quick, so we were in and out of there within 45 minutes. It's very inexpensive, so perfect for a quick lunch. Just get there early -- there was already a line waiting when we arrived 20 minutes before it opened for the day!

“Noodles aren’t what this place is all about”
If you have gave this place a bad review it’s because your stupid and have no idea what your eating. The deal here is that this place is well over a hundred years old and the recipes haven’t changed. The dashi for the broth was perfectly balanced. The pork is a sweet on its own with local brown s...ugar and the noodles are well made well cooked and go quite well with the dish. Cold beer, hot day real food and above all this is simple let’s keep it that way.

“Nice Soba”
We weren't looking for this restaurant but accidentally came upon it after pulling into its carpark and joined the queue to get in. The queue moved fast and soon we were infront of the vending machine that took our orders. We were shown to a cleared table shortlyy after getting the coupons from the ...vending machine. Bowls of hot soba were served fast, and we couldn't wait to tuck in. Very soon all of us finished the bowl of soba and emptied the soup. No wonder the long queue moved fast.

“Famous soba restaurant, fine Okinawa soba”
Accidentally found this restaurant. Ordered their specialty-Okinawa Soba for dinner. The soba was classic! Noodle was chewy and the soup made from bonito and soy been sauce, the pork was tender but dry... Overall, the taste was not really strong and impressive. BUT, once the KOREGUSU (Okinawa style ...chili sauce)was added in. The flavour would be raised to another level.

“Nothing to shout about this Soba”
We saw this shop near old Motubu market. Long queue for this tradisional soba. We came back the next day and was first in line. Boy! Are we disappointed. The broth is sweet with aroma of bonito flaskes. Other than that, the noodle is awful so chewy. The price has also increased by ¥50 per bowl a...s compared to previous post in google too. Mmm Not worth going at all.
