Ganahabutanikuten Kafunaasahibashi

The family was staying pretty close to this restaurant and we decided to try it out on our second night in Naha. The restaurant was located opposite the bus station, right and the corner. We were shown our table but the menu on the table was in Japanese. I remembered that some reviewers here had me...ntioned that they did have the English menu but was not given one until I asked for it. Went for the agu pork shabu shabu Set and also the Ishigaki Beef since we are in Okinawa. The shabu broth was simply plain water and milk. There were no MSG or whatsoever that came with them. The meat was presented very nicely with the different cut indicated in Japanese. The meats were of a high quality as they melted in our mouth and the texture of both the pork and beef were amazing! The meal came with vegetables with the meats. For carbohydrates, they provided rice or soba. We spent about 19,000 yen for the entire meal for 4 adults and 3 children which we thought was pretty good in view of the quality of meat served.

This is recommended if you want to eat around the near Righa Gran/Doubletree and you don't want to take the monorail to the shopping street. Everything was fresh and staff was able to guide you with the menu (although the menu is quite self explantory).

Highly recommended, great food and friendly staff. Get the all you can eat pork, otherwise you'll regret being constrained like I was. All very tasty and perfect.

The food was excellent but the staffs don't speak English. The intention of the staffs to resolve the communication barrier wasn't great at all. I can only say they are not orientated for non Japanese speaker. Please bring your local friend along as their (9) pork belly are the best I ever tasted.
