I will start off saying that the atmosphere looks warm and inviting with a huge window to the kitchen where you can see your food being cooked. We went there for a meat course dinner. All the courses were great with amazing focus on detail and presentation. For example, Miyazaki beef was brought in ...a greatly decorated plate topped with a raw egg. Although dubious at first, this dish was astonishingly tasty. But, my culinary adventure peaked when the Angus beef arrived. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly to medium rare. The taste was so incredible that I still remember it a week later and my mouth waters. I could go back only to eat those two dishes alone, yet the surprises continue even to desert with a great assortment of famous italian dishes and a homemade sorbet. In addition to food, we also accompanied the courses with a choice of sparkling, red and white wine and some local specialties such as sochu. I should also make special note of the staff and in particular our waiter, who was always smiling and friendly (albeit the language barrier), delivered our dishes the moment they were prepared from the kitchen and always refilled our glasses without standing on top of my head all the time but from a discreet distance. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, from business dinner to couples to families as the menu is quite long and could suit everyone's taste. More importantly, if you are looking for great quality meat cooked perfectly then this is the stop for you, just 2 minutes walk from Nakasu-Kawabata metro.
