“Okinawa Agu Pork”
Pros - 1) Agu pork was lovely. You swish it in the pot for a few seconds and dab it with a little Shikuwasa pepper sauce and it tastes great. After the ingredients in the hotpot are almost done, rice and egg will be added to the flavourful stock to make congee. 2) Great service 3) Some of the staff ...speak English and there's a write-up in English on how to enjoy your shabu shabu. Cons - 1) A tad pricey @ JPY 5,500 per pax 2) The place can be a tad noisy because of the small enclosed space 3) The eatery seems to be located close to some seedy shops

“Excellent food, service, and setting”
We came here after visiting a few other well known restaurants in town which were either packed or looked too casual for our last night in Okinawa celebratory dinner. We had one of the main pork set menus and it was delicious! Compared to some of the local options it is a bit more pricey (about 5000... yen per person for food and another 1000 - 2000 per person for drink) but still worthwhile if within your budget

“Shabu for pork lovers”
If you are a pork lover, you should not miss trying Okinawan famous Agu pork, so yummy and tasty and its meat texture a bit similar to beef. This restaurant serves 3- dinner course at 5,500 yen per person, so full at the end. Staff are super helpful and friendly, very homey services. ** Advance ...reservation is a must **.

“Incredible meal that changes your perception of pork”
I never thought pork shabu shabu could be any good. But, if there is Kobe or Wagyu beef, there is Agu pork, which is Okinawan pork. The pork at Matsumoto is particularly good and they elevate a simple shabu shabu dish into something divine. Agu pork is one of the most expensive pork in Japan and co...nsidered the highest quality. Naturally raised in the Okinawan island, Agu pork is one of a kind. Matsumoto takes the best and the highest quality of the Agu and takes this experience into a whole new level. There is no other restaurant that does the pork shabu shabu dish than Matsumoto in this entire world. And even if you dont like pork, you will enjoy it thoroughly and have a different perception about the meat itself. My mother personally does not like pork at all, but when we dined here, she fell in love with it. All of their ingredients are incredibly fresh and excellent in quality. They porridge that give at the end is just divine. Keep in mind that the meal is generous in portion. I suggest that you make reservations early on because this place is packed all the time. 10/10

“Rude!”
I've booked for dinner on our vacation. Friends told me that we must go there because "Agu" is fabulous. We were 7 people all my family. My sister can't eat any meat but she wanted to go with us. And I told about it to stuff and then he told me "So why you choose here?" OMG! I was freaking out! It...'s because we wanted to eat. Not ONLY my sister. I've never knew a cold Japanese person that much. I'll never go and recommend this restaurant!
