“Best Ishigaki beef!”
Wandered in here on a Thursday night without a reservation and couldn't get a table. Completely unsolicited our hotel also happened to recommend this restaurant for beef the following day and managed to get us a booking. It ended up being our best meal in Ishigaki. The beef is less fatty but more ...tasty and similar texture to Wagyu/Kobe beef. We ordered the supreme beef set (360g) which came with three different kinds of meat (calbee, loin, sirloin) all of which were melt-in-your mouth fantastic. It's not cheap - JPY10,000 but it was the best example of Ishigaki beef we had during our trip. After wandering around in the market the next day, we realized that the beef prices were actually very similar if you buy the beef fresh yourself to cook at home, so the mark-up is not that high.

“Great meat - cold atmosphere”
We went there upon reserving the table from our hotel. The place takes reservation also after 8pm (rare in Ishigaki). We took the most expensive set. The meat was great especially the thicker cuts. On a downside, it looks like eating in a chain restaurant (which I believe it is) so don’t feel home ...and don’t have that extra care you expect of you pay 80+ usd each.

“Melts in your mouth”
Be sure to book in advance as this restaurant gets quite busy. The food was delicious and beef was fantastic. English and Chinese menus are available here. The only little complaint was that there was too much salad dressing in our salad that we ordered. Perhaps request it on the side. It was als...o a little hot where we were seated.

“Meat from premium combo course was too fatty ”
For the price of >$60 per person, I thought the meal was average. My boyfriend and I got the premium combo course. It consists of 2 premium regular cuts and one chefs choice. The two premium slices from p.1 were somewhat fatty, and the chefs choice rare meat felt like 50% fat (we thought it would... be one of the options on the rare meats section, but it turned to be one that wasn't even on the menu) I think if you like fatty meat, this would be a great place, but I was not a fan

“Delicious ”
Yakiniku isn't something one usually goes to alone... But I was alone, and I was ready to splurge for the recommended Ishigaki beef dinner. First, there was a sign at the door saying they had a special menu for solo guests - meaning I could enjoy a variety of cuts without ordering too much. Also, th...ey let me order half portions of side dishes (not on menu). The meat was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Might be a bit fatty some, but to me it felt luxurious. My meal of assorted cuts, veggies, kimchi, rice and a few beers came to just over ¥7,000. Amount-wise, perhaps it was a bit too much but I took my time and devoured everything!
