“Agu pork shabu shabu! ”
We came to this restaurant keen to try some agu pork. It seems this restaurant is quite popular and I would suggest making a booking which you can do via their website. We put our name down and was told to come back in 45 min. The restaurant does have it's own carpark but it's quite small and tight ...and has limited spots. The staff here were friendly and has menus in Japanese, English and Chinese. The restaurant itself is decorated with a lot of pig themed items and even had a squeezy pig toy to call the waitress! We ordered the shabu set for 2 people which was a reasonable price. It came we agu pork shoulder, belly and leg meat as well as a platter of local vegetables, chicken mince balls and dumplings. The waitress patiently described everything as it arrived. There were even surprise noodles at the end and we were very full! As an entree we also ordered the peanut tofu which was a great sticky texture. Overall this was a great experience and I recommend this restaurant.

“Highly recommended”
Quaint little restaurant in Nago in a traditional style Okinawa house. Food is excellent and great value for money. Not many places like this in Nago so well worth a visit.

“Things to know”
First off you need a reservation for this restaurant. They have 4 seats at the bar type counter and the rest you sit on the floor. This is a unique place to visit, I quite liked it. The beef was good, but for my taste it had way too much salt! The Shabu Shabu was good, I liked the pork, not crazy ...about the rest! The deep fried chicken was excellent as was the pork belly. The service was good and we had a very nice lady who spoke some English to assist with ordering food. I think this restaurant only takes cash. I would recommend this place and I would return but I would request a seat at the bar... sitting on the floor is not my thing at all!!!

“Delicious meal served in a traditional house”
They serve Agu pork Shaba Shaba set minimum order of 2 sets from ¥3500 to ¥4000. It consist of approximately 150g of pork and a variety of local vegetables per set. Does not include rice and dessert. We also ordered the peanut tofu, love it but husband didn’t. They give a free drink if you post a... pic on Instagram and tag them. Total bill for 2persons was ¥7500. They have parking space but only for about 5-6 cars.

“Authentic, friendly & local”
Very boutique, homey and authentic Okinawa food. Great place to taste the agu pig shabu-shabu. The ingredients are fresh, then pork slice are think and yummy. Special way to get the staff attention, that makes you trying to get their attention all the time. ^_^. This part, you may want to find it y...ourself. The sorbet and icecream are mad through real fruits and held in the real fruits, very special. The only thing I would “warn” foreigners are the seating. It may be difficult to hold ‘kneeling’ position through all courses.
