Hirakawa

I usually don't write food reviews, but this time I felt inspired to share my experience. Yesterday, I visited a Japanese restaurant that I'd heard great things about, especially for someone who loves Japanese culture like me. I made a reservation, excited to try the omakase style, which is so hard ...to find in the US. The chef's passion for Japanese cuisine was evident in every dish. They treated each ingredient with such care, creating a perfect balance between flavor and presentation. The staff also showed their dedication, sharing the story of Japanese culture through each plate. Every bite was authentic and delicious, offering a true feast for the taste buds. The staff made me feel like part of their family. The waitress's high standard of English ensured that every guest felt valued and cared for. This unique blend of excellent service and cultural storytelling left a lasting impression on me. I’ll definitely bring my family here again. This was an amazing experience, and I hope more people get to enjoy the beauty of Japanese omakase.

Hirakawa is a place where you can feel the seasons of Japan. Using carefully selected seasonal ingredients, you can enjoy a variety of dishes as the seasons change. First, I'm drawn to the beautiful presentation of each dish, then I enjoy the delicately crafted food, and finally, I appreciate the be...autiful tableware. Both the 大将 and 女将さん are very friendly and the conversations are delightful. Last time, they mentioned that they would like to welcome guests from overseas, and I truly hope that overseas visitors who love Japan will come here to experience Japanese culture. So, I'm writing a review in English. I'm sharing a photo of the Seko crab （香箱） that enjoyed last time.

high quality, sophisticated restaurant. If you want to try traditional high quality restaurant, this restaurant is the best place. Extremely high quality, if you want to eat same level dishes in Fukuoka or Tokyo, you have to pay double or more.
