“Like a local pub with good atmosphere ”
All dishes are small portion to allow one to taste a variety of food that would go well with drinks. One will find many local favors that are quite unique to Okinawa. They speak minimum amount of English for ordering as menu is in Japanese but with photos. Atmosphere is bustling and dishes are tasty.... Very crowded with constant in coming customers so it is best to make a reservation.

“Local Experience - Ryukyu Cuisine at Urizun”
The restaurant operates in an old traditional house. Personally I like this style. The restaurant was completely full when we arrived (fortunately we made a booking in advance and highly recommended). I must admit inconsistency in service as other reviewers commented, however, I appreciate authentic... Ryukyu foods and atmosphere of the restaurant. Generally speaking, all dishes are small portion so we were able to try out different dishes (we had 8 dishes at the end). One of the best place to dine in consideration of various aspect. Unfortunately I did not try alcohol although it is well known for. However, it looked appealing.

“Quaint little cosy pub”
We came here for a early dinner with kids. Restaurant staff was friendly and hospitable. Made every effort to communicate in English. We can see it was popular with local families. We were place in a room with 3 other family with kids, all sat on tatami. Food was beautiful. Sashimi, yam cakes, p...ork ribs, noodles and the tofu stir fry were all tasty dishes.

“Homey restaurant with a good history”
A local Okinawan restaurant frequented by locals and visitors: it is always full and reservation is recommended if you come in big group. The interior is cosy and warm, decorated with old wine jars and other traditional Okinawan household equipments, we heard that it was a special design by its foun...der some 60 years ago. It was an enjoyable time drinking and chatting there; there is good variety of Okinawan food in the menu too.

“Grumpy waitress ”
The food was acceptable and the place had great atmosphere and is perfect for cool photos. The waitress was extremely grumpy and sneered at me when I asked her to heat some baby food.
