“Feels Bad to be Denied Service”
Okinawa people, for the most part, are friendly, kind and helpful; this has been our experience. But not so within this little restaurant. My wife and I entered for lunch when we encountered an unfriendly looking man who did not greet us. He immediately told us that we could not be seated for lun...ch because we did not have a reservation. We looked into the restaurant and saw many empty tables. We also saw a few people walk in and be immediately seated. There was no band or entertainment which would possibly warrant reservations. Yet despite our gentle protests the man kept waving us off, saying we did now have a reservation. Was he denying us service because we are Americans? I don’t know. I do know I have never been treated like this in a restaurant. Of course I cannot recommend this place. It was a bummer - steer clear.
