“Great fast food”
I visited Ichiran at johsaien in Kumamoto with a friend. If you haven't been to Japan before or ordered at a Ramen shop, then it's a real experience. The ordering process, serving and the tiny booths all add to a unique experience.

“Average. No queue ”
Famous in HK and always long queue. No queue here in japan. Tasted good but since so many ramen shops in japan, this one doesn't really stand out in terms of taste. It's interesting because of its seats. Nevertheless good we didn't have to wait.

“Good ramen”
Visited Ichiran at the recommendation of our tour guide. We were not disappointed. The ramen was in a thick and very tasty broth with a delicious slice of pork. It was cooked to order based on your choice of the doneness of the ramen, the taste of the broth, the amount of garnishes such as garlic a...nd spring onion. When you walk in, you place your order of ramen and side dishes from the machine and pay with cash. You will receive the tickets of your purchase and check the electronic board on where seating is available. Seatings are in single booths. It is quite an experience. If you don't understand Japanese, you probably need some help! But it is worth a try!
