“Birthday dinner! ”
Amazing food. Had the Kabira menu. Oishi! Would highly recommend for an occasion.. And every holiday is an occasion so if you are staying here for a few days by all means eat out of the hotel but if you eat in once, eat here! Awesome! Sugoi!

“Excellent Teppanyaki”
Located in ANA Intercon hotel, service and food are well up to expectation. We booked a table for 8 at night and there was little traffic going there. 40000yen+/- set menu for 2 sounds pricey, but it worth every single penny. The food are mostly local produce, fresh ingredients. Cream of the crop... is the ishigaki beef and ja beef. The marble distribution is like artwork. They are cooked to perfection. With free parking, it is a restaurant worth trying even if you are not staying in this hotel.

“Best meal of the 5 days !”
This is an outstanding restaurant - fine dining with attention to detail and amazing ingredients . We went for a set menu which was 18,000 per head ; expensive for a family of 5 and that included a couple of beers and some mid range sake. However, the chef was brilliant , the menu varied in terms o...f vegetable , meat and fish and it really was a memorable occasion . You can't really eat for less than 18,000 yen per head and other fixed menus were 20,000 +. We were staying at the hotel ; this meal was the main/ only redeeming feature ! We ate in the town the next evening to compensate where we had a fabulous beef burger at A+w ; contrast indeed but fabulous in its own way !

“The most amazing high end teppanyaki dinner ever!”
Pricey but worth every penny. The tables are small so we had a nice conversation with the chef. We ate a ridiculous amount of food, but it was all delicious. I still think about that meal - especially the steak. It was so wonderfully marbled - it practically melted in my mouth.

“Delicious Wagyu”
I normally avoid Teppanyaki due to its high price and the suspicion that it's only put on for tourists. However it is fun. And in this hotel I am the only westerner, and as an IHG loyalty card holder I get a 20% discount. The meal followed the Japanese format of appetiser, grilled vegetables, steame...d seafood (including lobster), salad and then beef. 2 types of beef were served: the prized Ishigaki wagyu and another premium type. Both were great, but I actually found the 2nd type top be the more tender, melting in the mouth. Then came a rice dish, miso soup and finally mango ice cream. The Ishigaki tea to finish was very aromatic and calming.
