KOUFUKURON

It was a fantastic meal! I have had a handful of Michelin Omakase experiences in Japan and this was my second 2 star Michelin experience and I can see why. Unlike most other Japanese restaurants, they did not turn us away though we had a toddler in tow, and allowed us to bring our own food for the l...ittle one. The food and ingredients used were exquisite. Something i have not tried at other places - bear, sea cucumber, kue, puffer fish sperm. I was blown away. Usually I am not fan of raw squid, but look at the knife skills of the chef, the thin cuts gave it a noodle-like bite, not slimy at all. Service was also exceptional. The staff wrote down the names of the ingredients in kanji and explained to us (in english) about the dish and how it should be eaten. This place really stood out - highly recommend.
