“For the beef lover”
The restaurant is a bit hidden behind a beautiful door on the second floor. Interior is very stylish. We were seated in a more or less private area. The food was served in a great timing sequence. The chef came to cook the meat for us, very skilled. Everything tasted great, the beef melted on your t...ongue. The side dishes were also very nice. In all a perfect and very tasty and memorable dinner. In the end we paid 21.700 yen, a very reasonable price for such a meal.

“The best beef I've had”
Had a business dinner in Steakouse Kachotei. This was my first visit to teppanyaki restaurant so I can only compare the taste and experience in general. To start the dinner we had some potato and eggplant slices with garlic in addition to some food which name escaped my ears. Watching them being fr...iend in front of your plate was fascinating and sort of mesmerizing. I think the chef wasn't a showman with his skills but no beginner for sure. First setting was ok but nothing miraculous. Then we had some shrimps which were good but then we moved to the beef and it was simply the best beef I've had in my life. It was from local cattle and I hope I'm right if I say it was Wagyu beef with beautiful marble look of fat inside the meet. The chef first cooked a one side of the whole steak, then quickly sliced it into about finger sized pieces and then cooked those from all the 4 long sides. The taste and tenderness was just heavenly, I'm sure I could have eaten a bucket full of those delicious small slices. After beef we had some sprouts and fried rice with egg and mini shrimps and they were all delicious. Two of my friends joined the dinner and all of us agreed that the beef was the best we had had. Our Japanese hosts also said that in their opinion this place is one of the best in the area for teppanyaki.
