With all due love for Japanese food: After more than two weeks on a round trip, our desire for really good pasta was enormous. Finding Ken’s restaurant was the best thing that could happen to us. Gnocchi and Carbonara, authentic and super delicious - the host knows what he is doing given he has live...d in Sardinia for a while. Starters and desserts with a slight Japanese touch, but just as good. A wonderful evening with a friendly, cordial host! Reservations recommended.

The atmosphere was cozy n warm; it was reasonably priced, n it was easy enough to find. The 3 dishes we consumed were delicious! The sausage was homemade, the cheddar sauce on the gnocchi was memorable n the appetizer was a nice assortment. Try it!!

My wife and I could not have hoped to stumble across a better place on our first night in Nagasaki. The owner was one of the most welcoming people I have met in Japan. Our first night we just sat and had a drink and chatted. Before we went the second time I read the Trip Advisor reviews of the food ...and was a little skeptical about the gushing sentiment. I was wrong to be skeptical. The home made pasta was unbelievable; and the coffee sour dough bread baked on site was out of this world. Do not miss this place; it’s a genuine hidden gem.

I have been to almost sixty countries. I have been to Italy many times. My father’s family is Italian. This is the best Italian food I have ever had - full stop. All five in our party agreed. The sweet, savory and seasoning was incomparable. The owner is kind and welcoming. The pasta is pillowy ...soft. The prices are incredibly reasonable. If this place was is a major US city, it would be Michelin starred. Everything is handmade and incredible. Where is the sixth star?
